They are claiming that they don’t have control over my domain name even thought I paid them almost 2 years ago ($70.00) and have the original Invoice. They are telling me that "Blue Sky" was the one who sold me the domain even though their name is on it.

Blue Sky,"conveniently" does not have a phone so I can’t call them and they are sending me pointless emails that are not solving the problem. It’s like talking to a stone wall!

As a last resort, Register.com tried to offer a last ditch offer to renew my domain at $12 instead of $35. Well I wouldn’t stay with them now if they gave it to me for free

Who did you try to transfer to? Were they able to offer any assistance or do they send you back to Registar.com?

The lesson here is that if you are going to transfer a domain name , make sure that you give yourself plenty of time. Problems always pop up. Fortunately my domain name expires June 17th so I still have plenty of time to make a few more attempts at a transfer before I file a complaint against Register.com with Internic!

I would ask GoDaddy to contact register.com as well on your behalf.

They will be able to resubmit the transfer request after it has been formally denied, or it times out. They may also be able to cancel and reissue the transfer immediately without waiting for the timeout, depending on the state the transfer is in.

well I’m not a reseller, but I’ll talk about the Zeus platform.

you can not get a faster platform for general web hosting account. I would say that right out of the box - 2 equal servers, the zues server would have the higher scores for transactions and concurent users.

there are other platforms, but for a general platform. I think Zues has got it pegged.

would there be a resellers market for people on this platform, not on the low end I think. but if you got a server farm and are to offer cluster hosting of 3 to 12 servers then yes.

That’s the biggest problem with new boards. I see it all the time, new forums with 20 sub-forums, all with 1 or 2 post. If you only have 2 sub-forums, they look much busier and bigger, and people will post more and come back.
